At the beginning of the 2026–2027 Academic Year, the Software Engineering Department held an Orientation Program for students who have newly joined our department.
During the program, students were provided with information about the academic structure of the Software Engineering Department, the education and training process, scientific research and project opportunities, and career prospects. The program also introduced the department’s national and international scientific activities, including TÜBİTAK, BAP, European Union, and international projects, as well as the academic and professional development opportunities available to students throughout their undergraduate education.
The orientation program also provided students with an opportunity to meet faculty members and fellow students, become familiar with the department’s academic environment, and adapt more easily to university life. The program concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session addressing students’ questions and interests.
We would like to thank all our students who participated in the program and wish all our students and academic staff a successful and productive 2026–2027 Academic Year.
